Dear All,

‘Civilian Committee’. Only two words, but they carry such weight - the second in particular! The thought of a committee can fill one with dread, let alone actually being on one! But we do need one; that’s the ruling from ‘on high'; No Committee = No Squadron.

We are somewhat depleted at the present time due to retirements and folk moving on, and we really do need to swell our ranks.

So this is a plea to all associated with 381 (Reading) Squadron. If you can give just one hour five times a year for committee meetings and assist with those cups of tea and coffee on enrolment evenings, nothing more, please call me.
